Gold or Silver? Try using a $20 Gold piece to buy a loaf of bread.
When my CASH won't work, they didn't want/need my business anyway.
Never have a problem paying for anything with CASH!! :)
Well, now that's when youhave to use a little ingenuity....you pulls out a nice, high carbon steel knife(PC/HC) and you shave off just enough to pay for the bread. BTW: the way things are going, that $20 gold piece might barely cover that loaf. 🙂

Okay, let's start a new question.
"What are you going to do when they completely make CASH illegal"?

It already is happening. It's called inflatution. Unbacked paper money that has less buying power on an almost weekley sceduele is war. War on a clueless populace. Its no accident but a tool of the ruling elite.
Create a disaster and then provide an fix. People will do whatever those pulling the strings demand of them, anything.

A loaf of bread in Berlin that cost around 160 Marks at the end of 1922 cost 200,000,000,000 Marks by late 1923.[14]

By November 1923, one US dollar was worth 4,210,500,000,000 German marks.[16]

I am currently fighting PayPal regarding a hacked account. I was told it was taken care of months ago but it was not. I will likely have to go to small claims court. You can spend many hours on the phone with them and get no one with a clue.

OH BOY ! What a statement !
You can spend many hours on the phone with them and get no one with a clue.

This works for Florida Homeowners Insurance

The Pharmacy , Doctor's office(s), Dentist, Sherriffs Dept, Voter registration office, Auto repair place, Food order, Bloodwork Lab, vehicle registration office, any political representative, trash collector, phone company, cable tv, school board member, motel office, bank ...

That's my partial list

When I see Paypal accepted in an ad, I pass.

Homeowners Insurance?? Just had an inspector come out. Nice guy. Don't think it was the same guy that came out a few years ago. Last time, got a letter after the inspection from the Ins. Co saying they were going to cancel my Homeowners Ins. Reasons?
House needed to be painted?? Think it was around 30* and paint don't dry when it's cold. Bunch more manure and I let them know EXACTLY what I thought of them!! Sent them a reply letter!!
Did mention that just because they got their BUTTS handed to them from the fires we just had, they were going after us "old folks" that had NEVER filed a Homeowners claim? Also mentioned that the "agent" had never contacted me about anything except to sell me more Ins? They like the premiums but don't like paying out the claims. I also mentioned that I had sent a copy of the letter to the State Insurance Commissioner. My guess is the agent had a hard time sitting down when I got thru with him AND the Ins. Company.
I also told them to cancel my Life and Auto policies on my 3 cars and I would send them a list of family members that would also cancel their policies.
Funny that after 50+ years and me NEVER filing a Homeowners claim, they want to cancel my policy because of a paint job? Other than the paint color, the house is the same as it was 30, 40 or 50 years ago. Something brakes, I don't call the Ins. Co. I fix it. Fire station is still the same distance from my house as it's been for the last 70 + years.
Then I got the but, but, but? The agent finally came out and said to forget the cancel thing and all was well. Imagine that?
Still waiting for the latest Inspection report. Homey don't play those Ins. games. :( ;)

I'm kind of fed up with insurance companies! I have USAA and they raise my ins. premiums by $300+ every year and my auto ins also. Never had a claim with them!! Like you said, they love to get those premiums. Looking right now for a new Ins company.

A private company assessing a "fine" is called theft.

Only a government can assess a fine after creating a law, and enforcing the law under the due process court system we created.

Pay pal is actively working to subvert your constitional rights. You have an obligation to boycott them.
What? You never get fined by a bank for overdraft? Ever pay a late fee?

They tried that manure with me on my Grandmother's house (I own it on paper). They came out for an "inspection" and sent me a letter saying the eaves need to be painted or they'll cancel my policy. I had to call and explain to my agent that I'm not slapping a coat of paint over high dollar cedar shakes to satisfy their moron inspector.

The insurance company sent someone to look at the house after a kitchen remodel. He looked at everything on the property except for the kitchen.

Soon after got a letter from the company bitching about my firewood. Which is neatly stacked away from the house and on paving. Told them I have a cast iron wood stove and a fireplace. You guys knew that when you wrote my policy. Which I cancelled and took my business elsewhere.

While very OT from PayPal bashing i must say my last premium in Northern California was going to be near $6000 in 2013 so i sold the place and joined the Cal exodus. FWIW 0nly Lloyds of London would cover new buyers and then they canceled after a year leaving only the phony CA "fair" plan,

You can add Bank of America to this list. So if you have a BOA credit card they are anti 2nd. I trashed mine a couple years ago. When asked why by one of there reps I mentioned the anti 2nd. The rep didnt even know what that was.
Did the same months ago.
