I'd posted about shouting my 54 GPR last week and a few suggestions were made. I didn't expect to get back to the range before deer season. However a couple days agor the temps were near 50 so I made some patch lube of a 1:6 Ballistol water mix and lubed up the yard of Hobby Lobby pillow ticking I'd purchased. Then layed it out to dry. Cleaned and lubed the set triggers, again, but did no polishing. Today the wind was calm and the temps in the mid 30's so I headed out to the range. I only fired 15 shots but the last shot was as easy to load as the first shot. The picture is the last three shot group, not the best of the lot but representative. Not match grade but defiantly Minute of Whitetail as I'll be hunting from a stand and shots will be <50 yards. .530 RB and 75 gns of FFFG Goex.
