Identification Help

Thanks for add. I have posted to several sites trying to identify this old muzzleloader. I can find no markings on the gun. Some people say it is a chunk gun. It does have a very unique shader. It has been standing in a corner or hanging on the wall for at least 70 years. I have never shot the gun. The gun came from my grandfather. Any help with identification or value appreciated. Thanks for looking and any comments and info.

This looks a lot like some of the revival guns made 1930s-1960s. The form of the rifling is modern. Older rifle barrels typically had narrow grooves.

Most chunk guns have longer barrels and a lot of them are half stocks. I have and original that is a half stock with a 47 inch barrel in .36 cal.

I agree with most people, it's a chunk gun.
