Identify this firearm

I found this gun in a dumpster. I was surprised myself but I have been trying to identify this gun. If you can help me, I would appreciate it.

Looks like a 'made in India' or 'Turkey' wall decoration to me.

I would suspect it was a "tourist" gun, made to be sold in the local bazaar as an "antique". At one time very common in the middle east and the Indian subcontinent. Probably still being sold in some areas. I have seen several similar "guns" brought back by US military vets. With the crown and the general style I would think Afghanistan might be a likely place of origin. Most are made from scratch and aged to look old.

As to being in a dumpster there are a lot of possible reasons .............. Someone simply wanted to get rid of it (kids in house maybe?) or an owner lost interest in it (found out it wasn't a rare and valuable antique?) or it may have been stolen then dumped because it had no real resale value. If there were no recent reports of guns stolen in a burglary nearby then the first two are likely reasons. Cleaned up it's a nice decorator.

No No its a genuine ' Fufeldield 'That is a 'got up ' most likley for tourist sale as the learned identifiers observed . Its about as' right' as a $1.50c note but it.s what it is and still a curio and conversation piece and the price was right .
