This would be my vote! There is not a critter on the planet that will not go down with a properly loaded Smooth Bore of those calibers. As long as you put it where it needs to be.
Granted you have to get a little closer so on dangerous Game, the pucker factor goes up, but well placed and it will go down!
I know a guy that can cut cards all day long with his 24 Gauge trade gun! They can be Very Accurate!!
