From what i have heard they are supposed to be Really good eating. Never got one to try it though. Did try bobcat once. Didn't care for it. Neither did the wife or granddaughter. And i didn't tell them what it was till after they ate it.

Bet they dont taste to good though.

Actually I've heard they taste like veal. Haven't had the pleasure of trying it myself though.

It's not bad at all, taste alot like beaver-which taste alot like spotted owl or bald eagle. Just jokeing but, they do taste somewhat like beef. :yakyak:

There is 92 year old trapper named Jake Korrel in Riverton Wyoming told me a couple of years ago that they are preety good eating if prepared properly he said the backstraps taste the best.

We have a sliding door in the kitchen like this,my wife and I often sit and watch TV at night, all though not as scary as a mountain lion, a fox was up on the deck looking in, when I happened to glance toward the door it startled the heck out of me.Had there been a lion there I would have had to use a breechloader if it was more determined than curious.

I would grab hold of it's ears, put my thumbs into it's eyes and say, "bad kitty bad kitty"

Ever read the book: Wildcat's Revenge, by Claude Balls? If I remember right, he highly suggested against that. :rotf:
