Er...meaning no disrespect...but a indoor rondevous? How can that be possible? I can understand the trade show thing...but a rondevous?

None taken,
It's just a lot of old friends getting together along with traders, to have a good time and see old friends. Once we get to telling stories and visiting, you hardly notice the walls.

Bighorn :)

Well, I'm hoping my schedule is open so I can come over and meet some people in the area and spend some money, just to support the traders, you know.

I'll be there long as the crick don't rise n the bridge don't wash out. Just ask around for Birdman, most folks there know me n should be able to point me out. Come on out n enjoy, its a good time. YMHS Birdman

I've seen this event advertised in the past, but never made it there. Do you folks come dressed in your voo duds?

Fiddler, if ya feel comfortable coming out in yer duds come on ahead. I probably will have mine on n theres plenty others that will too. If yer short on time or just don't feel like getting all gussied up, well come on over in yer civis anyway, don't mean a thang.

Wildatheart, don't know just what ya might be looking for but if they don't have the actual equip maybe there will be the stuff to make it out of. Usually there is leather, books, beads, guns, woolens, oil cloth n most everything ya might need to make something available. With 80 tables of gear n the makings, most like you will find what ya need, least I hope ya do. Or give Dave a shout if there is something spacific yer looking for, he should know if one of the venders will have it or not. YMHS Birdman

Just a reminder to all the Pa guys about the Elverson indoor this coming weekend. Hope to meet some of ya there. YMHS Birdman

Birdman, I asked my daughter if she wanted to go and she said yeah, okay. So hopefully we will see you there. Hopefully I can get past General Custer with my plastic still in tact. I wanted so bad to buy a capote off of him at Muddy Run but didn't. It was neat talking with him about his persona and the fact that he is a retired living history teacher. If only you can open yourself up to people they have alot to teach you.
See ya Saturday

Z I've known Dale for years, if he gets pushy just tell him to buzz off LOL he is such a windbag we ought to use him for an alternative energy source. He deffinately has some nice stuff but you can do better on the price either by stiff bargining with him or going to another vender. Best way is to get a good grade blanket n sew one up yourself, they really aren't that hard. You can get good deals on hudson bays n whitineys on e-bay if ya watch close. I got three last year for less(all together) then the price of one new one.Hope to see ya there, oh yea will ya be going to the Lancaster event at Muddy this year, its the first week in May I believe? take care YMHS Birdman

Yo Birdman, were you and that young lady doing some kind of slowdance or what? I ended up buying a gun sock off of General Custer (Dale). He also gave me some info to read up on General Custer. He did say something about you kissing some part of his anatomy :rotf: . On saturday I also ordered a powder horn from Skip for my father in law. I liked it so much I drove back over on Sunday and ordered one for myself. Skip said that he had his 3rd heart attack three weeks ago. He was looking pretty good at the show.

I was glad you introduced me to Maestro and his family.
I am planning on going to Muddy Run. It all depends on my work schedule.
Take care

Sure good seeing you n Maestro n family again n hope to see both of ya over at Muddy Run come May YMHS Birdman ps how was the crowd Sunday while you were there?

Birdman, I was there about 9:30 and it was still thin. I am hopeing to bring a friend and his boys to Muddy Run. His one boy is good at drawing and likes hunting. I want to introduce him to Skip and buy him a book on skrimshawing powderhorns and then see what happens. Later
