Inlays on Thompson Center

I'm am getting ready to do my first inlays figured I would start on this Thompson Center Hawken Stock. I have 2 fish, 2 stars, and one moon. I am wondering where the best location to place these. This probably a little over kill but I need the practice.

I’d do my first ever inlays into a scrap piece of wood rather then a stock.

If you're going to do something with the TC stock, maybe better an overall with a federalist theme.

I like it, no guts no glory.
My .10c…I’d do star on cheek rest, fish where you have the stars and moon where it is. Save the other star for another stock.

Also you ought to do some shaping of the stock. Notice the flat spots around the lock panels, these should be contoured to blend into the wrist.
