Greetings from Michigan, the state of unemployment. (We're No. 1!)
Guess I'm a youngster here compared to some of you boys, just turned 61. Built my first rifle back in the early 70's after watching Jeremiah Johnson.
(Took my first canoe trip after Deliverance too, but that's another story...) I've shot many a piece in the last 50 or so years, but nothing makes me smile like a flintlock. (well, almost nothing...) I have 3 now including that first one and I'm putting together a trim little Appalachian
squirrel rifle this winter. Also have a single percussion-my wife never liked rocks in her guns. All slow twist RB rifles; pointy bullets are too hard on thumbs.
Hoping to find some kindred souls here. You may not hear from me a lot, but I'll be listening.

Greetings from your neighbor across the lake! Hope to hear more from you soon.

Greeting to you old feller. I will be turning that age soon. Great forum to be on. Lot of info here.

Welcome to the MLF from Wyoming! Sounds like you have some info and stories you could share and we could learn from, hope you will contribute when you can.

Greatings from Pa. Crossthread:

I got started huntin' rock-locks about '83, and got into buckskinnin' in '85 after attending a demonstration shoot. Been hopelessly addicted ever since. Guess there's no cure(thankfully).
Welcome to the camp.
