Great-looking gun, Steve! Did you put some kind of finish on that iron furniture? The gray look is very nice.

LOL :hmm: it would be fun to be around 2 or 3 hundred years from now n listen to the discussions guns made today will bring about, good looking shooter for sure

I really like it. I have one that should be finished in around a week or so that is all iron or as they say here in the hills of TN "arn" mounted. Andy Thomas the gunsmith at Martin's Station is doing it for me. Getting ansey, want to shoot her.

Great looking rifle. It really does look like an original "working" gun but I'd hardly call it plain....gorgeous, maybe.

Steve, you do exemplary work, simply a beautifully crafted rifle and gorgeous to look at. I myself have a weird relationship with brass. If it's on a gun of mine it's got to be "distressed", calmed down, darkened, whatever you want to call it just not shiney like a flippin' doorknob.

I've always like a gun with all iron furniture.

Do you build guns for yourself or to sell, if I may ask?

I really like the iron furniture and length, caliber as well as lines... perfect to say the least...
wonderful job.

Very Nice Piece. I like The Cross of St. Lorraine...
that's the only thing that spoils it for me.
I do love iron furniture though and that's a BEAUTIFUL piece!

Beautiful work. Just heard from Steve about his finishing a rifle he is making for me. Can't wait; it is shipping soon.
