First. I don't own a Kibler anything...I'm not a kit person I like to build from a plank. But Jim Kibler has done more for our sport in the last few years than a lot of people.
What I admire the most is he is a perfectionist. He is never satisfied with his products..! Jim is always trying to improve them. Where a couple of others just seem to want to get by.
After using one of his locks. I have NO intentions of using someone else's....and his warranty and customer support is second to none....
Well done Jim an Katherine.... Well done indeed..!

I was looking at our Sponsor Directory and did not see Kibler listed. Is this correct?
If he does not sponsor this site, I personally find that odd, given the 1000's of free ads he receives here from the members.
Hope I am wrong or looking in the wrong place.
So what. Because he makes a great product, why does he need to advertise. You and your behavior are what’s wrong with this country.

I have been a fan of Jim Kibler due to his great research and artistic abilities. Before he began the business he has now he was teaching classes and helping people build muzzleloaders. I have been able to assemble two great examples of his research . I am 83 and have only one fully functional arm. Jim's kits are so good that I was able to have something to leave to my family. I am sure Jim and Catherine are the best company Executives in the business. Here are the two that I have and am very proud to have.

i must say that the Kiblers have been of unending help to me even though i have never YET bought one of their kits.
their videos on all facets of building help me far beyond measure.
i build from a plank. because i am not yet to the level of doing justice to one of Jims piece's of art. SOON.

I just got into the sport a little over a year ago. Back then I didn't know a Kibbler from a TC. I didn't even know who or what it was all about until a few months ago. I never knew he was part of the group until today!

Around January I started toying with the idea of building a kit. So, as always, I started my research. I wanted something that was going to be top quality at a reasonable price (sounds old school, right?) that would last (borders on unreasonbale these days!). I found all sorts of manufactureres that made stuff closer to my budget, but none had the look or the quality I was looking for.

A short time after, I joined this and the sister group. Until then, I had been flying solo with no others to discuss BP with. I wasn't on FB either, so there's that. I kept seeing the name and decided to research it. I was amazed at what I read, saw, and discovered. Here was someone producing exactly what I was looking for! And, through my research, I discovered he was Old School business! You pay a reasonable price for high quality!

I already have my cash stash saving up for one. Nearly there!$$$

I see he is a supporting member already, so he is paying to be here. Him not paying to advertise here shows me humbleness. Letting the quality of his work do the advertising for him shows pride without being boastful. This combined with his reputation makes him someone I want to do business with.

I know my 2 cents ain't worth a plug nickel, but there it is, anyway.

Before I bought my first kit I went to a local shoot to get advice. Out of the 20 something shooters there more than half were shooting kiblers. I asked for advice and no one suggested anything other than a Kibler, enough said. I ordered one, built it for my grandson and promptly ordered my self one. After getting these two all set up and sighted in ready for deer hunting I’ll start thinking about the next one.

I see you're from PA, where apparently Kibler's rifles are more common. Around here (Nebraska) I looked for more than a year before ordering and couldn't find anyone who had purchased one. Since the box arrived, more than 30 people have stopped by to take a look at the kit and work-in-progress so far.

Kiblers factory is about 90 miles from Pittsburgh, might have something to do with how they got here, but the quality and customer service is what made ownership explode. I went to the same shoot last weekend for shooting advice and guys were showing their Kiblers in all states of finish. A few in the white, a couple that were working on carving and a couple new ones just finished. It seemed like everyone had a Kibler or a custom made rifle. No CVA, no TCs.
BTW they all raved about the accuracy and customer service. Jim Kibler might just be the Bill Gates of muzzleloaders.
