I have seen sites that identify Civil War rifles, but what about earlier long guns? Revolutionary war era?

Best I've found.

It's easy to identify the CW rifles - they were factory produced. The Rev War rifles were all custom made in small numbers and we don't have the images and records that were available later in history.
