I recently saw this shotgun for sale for $350. I am wondering if the capbox was added later. What do you think? Is it worth the money?

Yep, 100% correct and worth the money as long as the stock and the barrels are sound.. Belgian I'd say
Probably big and heavy with two keys....

My grandson (13) has one simlar. Got it from logcabin shop, about same money. Said it was around 150yrs old, they thought English. I think it only has one key. He killed a deer with RB,70grs2ff at 70yrds. No bull I and his dad was there.14ga. I think the ball was a oz and eights. It will put both balls in paper plate at 50yrds. i told him that it was a keeper for sure. It has a patchbox just like that one. Dilly

I think I've seen that gun up for sale at Cherry's or certainly, one very similar
