.....but today it did.
I shot two snipe today (not together)with a muzzleloader. Only done it once before!

The first bird was 30yds right to left and the second bird I missed with the first barrel but the second barrel got it at 40+yes!
1&1/8oz #5.

Neat little birds and good shooting especially with a BP shot gun, have not seen a snipe or woodcock in a long time, good hunting to you Brit. Is that a old original double gun, I have a sweet spot for the double barrels always on the look out for a shootable old one. Perhaps a 20 or 16 a 28 would be the cats a%%

40year old plus Pedersoli.

As I mentioned Brit nice gun, I will continue my search for a original double front stuffer a flint would be awesome but I would not turn a blind eye on a percussion.
