I've had a 58 Remmie .44 for quit some time, and 6 weeks ago got a 1851 Navy. 3 Weeks ago I got a 58 Remmie .36, and now I have on order a Lyman Plains pistol. I'm wondering, is there any kind of treatment I can get to cure this affliction?

I sure hope not! I don't want to be cured. I just want more money to spend on the addiction. Time to go mug little ol' ladies, or do smash n' grabs. :blah:

I doubt it. You'll wind up slobberin' like a mad dog at fotos of brass framed '51 Navys and shoulder-stocked '58 Rems.
:shake:

Another aspect of this "disease" is the desire to properly clothe them in leather...holsters that is.

Married or Single? If married than I believe the cure might find out very soon. :haha:

Little ol' ladies here are hazardous to criminal's health alright. We've had a couple of them blow a bad guy outta his socks locally in the last year. Good on 'em!

No cure that I know of. You will slow down as time goes on. I still have a list of 50 or more that I want, but I have decided that I already have more then I can shoot, so I now try for one every 3 years or so.

As I said, there is no cure.
I have a number of pistols hanging on my wall and I'm still wanting to get a 1848 Dragoon, a 1st Model Dragoon, a 2nd Model Dragoon, a New Army .44, a 1862 Colt Navy, a Colt Patterson, a Dance Brothers .44...
It just keeps going on and on! :rotf:

zonie :)

Well boys, judging from the response of my original post, looks like I'm not the only one afflicted with this incurable malody. I'd be wondering if there's such thing as a group home for dealing with blackpowderitis?
