I am a retired navy EOD warrant officer, originally from Alabama, now in Jacksonville FL. I own and shoot all types of guns but black powder is my first love. I have built some of my own guns and up-graded most of what I bought. Nobody knows everything, least of all me, so I'll have lots of questions and I promise to read carefully the answers.

You sound a lot like me. I own and shoot a lot of modern guns, but none of them holds as dear to my heart as the muzzleloaders. Those things are downright addictive!
