I haven't been here for awhile since poor eyesight has made iron sight shooting very frustrating. I am hoping for some guidance on a J Moll rifle. A friend owns the rifle but it is missing the lock. It also appears to have been converted to percussion. What would be a good way to replace the missing lock and still retain the original character? Thanks for any assistance you can offer. I don't have possession of the rifle but could post or text some pictures in a few days.
