Here's a few pictures of the first Beck pistol that I built using the mountings developed by Bill Kennedy. The barrel is a 10", .50 cal rifled (NO SIGHTS) made by me in my shop . Bill was working on an 8" Beck pistol, but never got to finish it, so this is the first to be completed.

Thank you Brett.
The side plate, butt cap, trigger guard, trigger plate and pipes are designed by Bill Kennedy, based on the original Beck pistol. The swaged nose cap, barrel, stock and silver thumb piece were made by me. The .50 barrel (s) I made from blank stock by Rice, with 1-22 twist. turned to the original specs.

Great work, Don

That is real nice work. Is that a 'dueling' pistol?

Thank you Blizzard. It is not your typical "Dueler" design, but a lot of Kentucky pistols did evolve from that style. Some duelers even had the "holster pistol butt" shape, like the English Georgian pistol.
