I saw something in our paper that said they were gonna have a woods walk this year. The website makes no mention of it, except for some tour of the grounds. Is that what they meant by a "woods walk"? Since I've never been there, I was wondering if somebody more knowledgeable about the place could clarify that.

Wild, last I heard the booshway had someone that was gonna be running a regular "woods walk". I ain't talked with Mike(booshway) in a couple weeks but if its possable he will have all bases covered for shooting, hawk n knife n archery etc. Biggest problem is participation by folks to run the different events, everyone always wants to have fun n play but fewer n fewer want to help out running an event.

Hey Birdman, Just 2 more weeks and we will see each others ungly mugs. Can't wait. Don't forget your bow. Frosty

Hey Birdman, you're too old to play :rotf: I seen Mike at Blue Ridge Mountain rondy on Labor Day, he is planning a nice event. See you then ole man  Hey Wildatheart and Frosty, stop by my camp and say hello, I'll be the camp with the two rotties.

Is this the event coming up later this month? If so what are the rules regarding period dress and attendance and or participation in any of the events?

Mike google up Jacobsburg Historical Sociaty, I believe the event is listed as a "rifle frolic" all the rules n such should be there n if ya have any other questions give the booshway a call, he can fill ya in on all the particulars. Frosty n RR man am I ready for this one, its been a looooong busy summer n I need the break, see ya in a coule weeks YMHS Birdman

Frosty, RR n any others, sorry I'm gonna miss ya at Jburg. This past weekend I come down with a bug a some sort n feelen kinda poorly rightnow, best to stay hunkered down at the home place n heal up before haveing to go back to work. Ya'all have a grand time n let me know how it was. Wishen I was feelen better enough to go, YMHDS(your most humble n depressed servent) Birdman

Birdman, It was cold on thrusday night down in the 20's. Wet the next day. But other than that it was great. Wish you were here. Had a pumkin carving contest. Woods walk was good. River Rat was a missin also. So I had to hang out with Charlie. Picked up a nice Hudson bay 4 point to have a capote for the wife. Hope you feel better.

Frosty

Good ta hear ya enjoyed the event Frosty, yea its better I stayed home cause I'm just now starten to feel half way normal. Most times I just work through a bug like this but this time it knocked me down good, I would have been miserable n most likely would have left early. Wonder what happened to RR? talk at ya more later-Bird ps. have ya thought of doing the Lancaster event at Muddy Run come spring. Heard the Eastern will be there too in 09
