Jager vs. Jager?

Fellow Flintlock Shooters/Collectors,

I am in the market for a Germanic Jaeger and I have narrowed it down to either the: T.W. Pistor Jaeger and the Ansbach-Bayreuth Jaeger kits from the Rifle Shoppe. However, I cannot find photographs of what these two kits look like. Would any of you esteemed colleges happen to own one or both of these rifles? If so would you be willing to share some pictures of them? I would like to compare and contrast the two before I make my final purchase decision. Any help you can provide would be greatly appreciated!

If you are going to be ordering from TRS it's best to call them first to see if they have what you want in stock. Like most companies in this niche, they are a very small operation. Otherwise it may be a very very long time before they make a production run of what you're interested in. Years in some cases.

Keep in mind these guns have short pulls. Probably 11" to 12". You might ask TRS about that first.
