Well I passed on my old TVM Jeager to my brother from another Mother last winter in the hopes of Buying parts and building a new hunting rifle. I did get the parts but did not get the rifle built in time for a Colorado Hunt. Just as well, my tag went unfilled but my buddy put the old jeager to good use! To make the story sweeter he had 2 of his young sons along with him for an evening hunt in the Colorado woods! They were able to watch their Dad take this fine young doe with a flintlock! They were both very excited and Happy to be out with us! It was a great time had by all! He had taken several critters with a percussion, This is his first time making meat with a flintlock! I think he is hooked!! Congrats to my buddy!!

Thanks for sharing. I love seeing photos like that! Nothing better than sharing good times with your kids.
