Hi All,

Boy, you know I just found this site about a week or so ago and now I have all these questions to ask. Really is a super place to visit.

Okay , now I have another gun, a Jeager [don't know if that is spelled right or not]. This is what I know about it.

Built by a guy in Pa. around ten years or so ago. He sold it to a friend who then sold it to me. When my friend bought the gun, it came with a magazine, and on the cover was this gun. He owned it for eight years and during that time, he lost the magazine. All he could remember was that it was a Black Powder or Muzzleloader mag and could not recall the name. I am hoping that someone here knows how to research this and maybe we can find the right one and I can get a back copy.

The gun was built and signed by a guy named J. Kreckel of Saylorsburg Pa.. I will try to post some pics of the gun tomorrow. I have not fired it since I bought it because it looks too nice to take out in the woods. I suppose one day before I die, I will try it. First I have to figure out what the caliber is. Takes a really big slug.

Okay, any help out there??

There are more than one mag out there but I would start here, I would contact them about past issues that had a "Jager" on the cover. They my be able to help. Or it maybe on a different mag cover.

Thanks Swampy,

Checked out Muzzleblasts but had no luck on the covers. Any more that you can think of?

The builder's name is Jurgen Krekel. He also did some really neat super early gonnes. Matchlocks and wheellocks, if I recall correctly

:) :) :) :)

Thans Guys,

I just sent Mr. Kreckel a email and see if he remembers. Has anybody out there ever seen any of his guns? I forget who told me but someone said he made some weapons for Disney Studio's. I don't know if that is true or not but from his workmenship, I would believe it,
