I've got friends in Winona, and a bit of history there as well, I got my bachelor's and masters from St. Mary's. I've been to the rendezvous there as well several times.
Does Bub's Brewery still make the best bar food around? I sure miss that place.

Yep, Bub's is still is a good value for your money and the free popcorn is great too. They have a couple of brews that are pretty good.
My wife went to St. Mary's, ah...let's see, I'll just say a number of years ago! That's how I got to know the area. Fell in love with her and the scenery here. You probably know it's been renamed a University now.
We both really enjoy the Winona rendezvous (the Big Muddy). Hope to see you there sometime. Always in October.
