A mate of mine just sent me a photo he took of me firing my JP Henry trade rifle. I have been shooting this rifle for 30 years now and the ignition is still as good as the first time I used it. It is .54cal and from memory it was a kit from a company based in Los Vegas that I saw an add for in Muzzleloader magazine, I had it shipped to New Zealand where a good friend assembled it and made several improvements to it. I then picked it up when I flew over from Oz to attend that year's Mountain Man Shoot in NZ.

Reddogge, I'll get some for you when I get home tonight. Until then here is another view at the Hill End Winter Muster.

Great. I built a J.J. Henry trade rifle for my son back in the 80s out of junk parts.

I used a photo in a book but had to use the butt stock profile of the stock blank. I only paid $5 for the blank and buttplate.

That's a nice rifle. Thanks for posting. Yes, he was happy with it although he's 55 now and not 11. It's sized where he can still shoot it but never does.
