Sorry it took a couple of days. Been tied up with work. Like I said, simple bag like I imagine would be made in a cracker camp using what was abundant. Gator parts, pig parts, cow parts, etc. I'm pretty sure I used the plans available here for the bag and the flap is leftover belly hide from a small gator I got from the Kissimmee river. attached with a little Spanish braiding and the strap rings just laced on quickly with some The sheath is one of the leg skins. I have the others tanned and will one day get around to making a flint wallet out of it.

I like that knife sheath too.

I wish about half a million people would make things out of gators. We have about a million too many IMO .... that's my dog's opinion too! :grin:
