After reading so many glowing recommendations about "The Dutch System" I decided to invest the $20. I emailed him with a question first and got a response almost immediately. He then proceeded to email me a 55 page PDF document.

He sent the documents immediately (sooner than I mailed the payment actually).

He responded to several emails and seems like a great guy. He seems like one of those guys that we need more of in the world.

Now, off to read!

Once you read it,
Read it again and again and again,,
There is so much info it's hard to digest it all in one or two sittings.
Then follow it just like it's layed out.
Most folks that find the system fails is because they have gleened just a little info then wander off track with their own ideas,, nothing wrong with that but if you want the full benefit and maximum accuracy from your rifle follow just what Dutch says.

Working it out with that first rifle can take a couple months,, but it get's easier as you learn it

I found that his system says basicly what it took me twenty years to learn. Consistancy is the main thing for accuracy and he gives you consistency! You can spend twenty bucks or twenty years! :idunno: :idunno:

+1 to the above! If the system cost 5 X $20 it would still be cheap.

I bought Dutch's system many years ago and don't believe I have ever seen a better written or easier to read analysis of developing an accurate load for a muzzleloader. Anyone who puts a ball down a barrel on top of a charge of powder should own a copy.

Congratulations.
To get the benefit from all the information you have received from Dutch...you have to be one of those shooters who CARES about results and is willing to WORK at it.
Many shooters are perfectly satisfied with "whatever" results they get, and there's nothing wrong with that, if that's all they feel like they need. For those guys who only need "minute-of-deer"...it's probably not too hard to get there on your own. Some of us however want "one-ragged hole" and Dutch's system will definitely shorten the learning curve to get there, if you are willing to work at it.
There's no magic in Dutch's system...what he has done is to put together into one reference the accumulated common sense knowledge most of us spent 20 yrs learning on our own.

Congrats, there's lots of good knowledge in there. I struggled for a long time before I bought it. Dutch is a first-class guy.

Pay attention to the order in which you approach the variables.
