As far as quality goes, you can't go wrong with a Pedersoli. I am not into all of the HC/PC bit so I can't say if a Pedersoli has the right kind of wood or the right number of screws, etc. but from experience, I can tell you that a Pedersoli rifle is a quality gun that will serve you quite well.

They are very good shooters, true no way HC/PC so what, they'll do you good...The Mortimer is twice the rifle for the price....Tom
