I really love scrim work. I just need to learn the proper technique and the patience to do it. This one already found a new owner, maybe the next one will enjoy some extra attention. The strap is a bit crappy I really need to work on that part. :hmm:

how do ya like that brass spout plug, is it one with the o-ring, if so how do ya like it and how good does it work :v ...............bob

yup, the one with the lil rubber o ring. It wont fall out, I can tell you that much. It fits real tight in the spout. Havent tried it on the range or the field yet but I know it'll work great. :v

Great horn Titus. I just posted my first over in Photo's. What did you do epoxy the plug in? Don't see any nails! Gives it a clean look.
You make the brass fittings or buy them? I heard somethng about an O ring!

cliff, these I bought from Track, but I have a friend who now makes them for me from brass on his lathe. yup, I use steel epoxy to afix them into the wood and bone. :v

I have to say that that particular horn is quite sturdy, almost heavy for it's size, it will be able to take plenty hammering.

I use that same spout for my shot snake, it keeps the lead shot very secure. Great looking horn.
