You should have to own a mass produced flintlock first so you truly appreciate the merits of misfires and hang fires! "Unfortunately", you are likely to never know the struggle.

Unfortunately, that's not a problem known only to mass produced flintlocks.

Once the smell of black powder smoke gets into your lungs, you will have acquired the addiction for which there is no cure. Enjoy your new rifle.
Remember that your flintlock will only fire with real black powder, no substitute.
