Kentucky pistol range day.

Wiped out this pesky watermelon with the Kentucky pistol.
New to me gun, but the little 45 shoots pretty well.
Range was 20 yards. Patched round ball over 25 grains of Swiss 3f powder.

That’s the trouble with those striped rattlesnake watermelons. You can’t show any mercy and just wound them. You have to take them out immediately. You never want to corner a wounded one...
