Hi, I have for sale a beautiful Kibler Colonial Rifle in 54 caliber. I assembled this rifle last spring from one of Jim Kibler's excellent kits. I am selling it because I much prefer smoothbores and wife won't let me get Jim's smoothbore kit when it comes out unless I sell one off to pay for it!The stock is standard grade sugar maple and was stained using iron nitrate. 5 coats of Tried and True varnish oil was applied over the course of several weeks. The stock was scraped rather than sanded. The brass not polished too much and the lock externals and barrel were polished and left in the white to take on a natural patina. The weight is just over 9 pounds, length of pull is 13 5/8", barrel length is 43" and OA length is 59". Has been fired after I finished it about ten times and that's it. The sights were not adjusted but you can see from the pic that they aren't far off. The bore is pristine, I tried to get a picture but just couldn't get the correct lighting. The fastest lock I have seen, and it was primed with 2f powder. Well put together, no issues of any kind. It's in almost new condition. I am asking $1,600.00 and that will include shipping in the lower 48 states in the wooden box that I received it in. Thanks for looking
