First look at the kit this morning. It was shipped on Tuesday and arrived this morning although tracking said it would be delivered on Saturday. Pays to stay home. Anything you’ve hear about the high quality of their products is more than true. The lock is remarkable! As the hammer is pulled back the force needed becomes less as it comes to full cock. There is no wiggle or dragging of any part and when the frizzen is closed there is NO light to be seen between the pan and it. The wood is fancy with curl full length. I haven’t fully finished inspecting it yet but can say with complete confidence that it’s the cheapest kit I’ve ever bought! That’s because you won’t need to buy a aftermarket lock, better ram rod or anything. No need to buy a lot of tools like drills, taps, rasp, and such. A eight inch smooth file and some sand paper will do most things unless you want do carving or engraving. There’s a basic instructions packet that comes with it for someone who has never touched a rifle, I guess.
