I am considering ordering a case of powder and have been comparing prices. I found in Powder Inc. KIK powder which is cheaper than Goex. I know you get what you pay for but wondering if any of you have ever used KIK and how it compares to Goex or Schuetzen.

Kik works as well as Geox. I've been shooting 3F kik for the last year or so and can't find anything wrong with it at all.

I have to agree with Spitpatch, though it may work very well for you as it did for Bimbo. I know about 5yrs. ago I bought a case of Elephant powder because some shooters were having good luck with it and it was cheap. That case came in and it was the worst stuff for me I ever used! I was fortunate enough to rid myself of it for what I paid for it. Also fortunate enough the buyer never saw me again. Of course if he intended to shoot me, I would have preferred he used that powder!

I have been shooting it for several years, have ordered several cases of it in that time frame and just love it. I would not hesitate to order it and I certainly will when I get down to 4 or 5 lbs.

I have shot many pounds of KIK and have had nothing but great performance out it.

I also have heard good things about KIK..However GOEX is the last of a long line of domestic black powder makers. If we do not support them and they go under we must depend upon our government not to restrict the import of an explosive. I,m lucky to make it to Friendship every year. I buy my powder there and support the NMLRA...

Just food for thought. Nothing more....Dave

That is a good thougt and the cause why I have changed to a german bp. Since 6 months I use only WANO PP to support a german powder mill. Before that I used swiss.
