Kilber Hawken calibers?

I’m assuming they will make the kit for 50 and 54 cal. Does anyone know or guess they would make it in 36?
If so I would probably wait before I bought a Santa Fe kit.
Sounds like exactly what I’ve been looking for.
I don’t believe anyone makes a kit in 36 with half stock kit, (Walnut, not beech or European hardwood. To me that is half the beauty of the traditional rifles. I like to admire the beautiful grain and the plain basswood look just doesn’t do it).

Maple or cherry would be ok too.
Oh yeah it’s got to be accurate too

I'm only guessing, but my suspicion is larger calibers, maybe .45, .50 and .54 or maybe .50, .54 and .58. I think Jim Kibler is pretty much a stickler for historical accuracy and I think most of the Hawken rifles were hell for stout and heavy, so I'm guessing these guns won't be fairy wands and may not suit my taste, but I know that a lot of people have been waiting for them.

That’s what I was afraid of. Thank You, seems like he makes a darn nice kit. I already have a Lyman’s 50 so looking for a 36 kit to finish

I'm not really in the know, was just suggesting what I thought was likely to happen, so don't take my word for anything. I presume that Jim, Katherine or someone else at Kibler would be happy to answer your questions, but keep in mind that the Hawken kit isn't ready to go and they may be canny about some of their answers, for obvious reasons.

A 36 in a Hawken would be like a 4 cylinder engine in a Corvette.

Hawken in .36, would that come with a Radio Flyer wagon or a dolley to haul it around with that weight?
