I've been lurking for awhile now.You guys have some nice pieces.
I was into civil war re-enacting for 20+ years and have built a couple mortors.one U.S.Coehorn and one Confederate style on a Union base.Plus I still have a 1/2 scale Calvery parrot barrel that I bought back in 1982 but that old girl is in rough shape. Here are some pics of the Confederate Coehorn Barrel 16" long 7 3/4"O.D. 3"I.D. 12"depth
High pressure seamless tube the walls are 2 1/2" thick.Base is 22"L X 12"W X 10"T oak that was aged in my Grandfathers barn for nearly 80 years.
