A family member is considering purchasing a Pedersoli Kodiak. Past posts have commented on accuracy. I am curious about rifling twists, preferred loads and barrel regulations. Any further information would be greatly appreciated.
 
.58s and .50s were 1:48 twist. My .58 liked 100 grains Goex 2f, wonder-lubed (or spit-lubed) pillow ticking and .570 round ball best of all combos I tried. It also liked the Black Widow conicals. Good accuracy and barrel regulation at 50 yards, the only distance I shot it. The .54s were slow twist barrels (I say were because Pedersoli might have changed some specs on new models). Kodiaks are fun :thumbsup:
