Lancaster Smoothbore 20/ 62. Oct RD barrel 42” long. By colerain. Maple stocked with some figure. Siler lock. No butt plate. Brass trigger guard. 2 forward thimbles. No entry thimble. Length of pull 13 1/2”. Trigger pull weight at 3 pounds. Chambers white lightning liner. Weight of 7# or tad under. Shoots a 600 RD ball with a 15th patch 70 grns of 3F. Gun shot very little. Built by a regular o‘l guy I know from fort For a buddy. who never shot it till I picked this up Priced 1500$ plus shipping Prefer friends paypal, USPS money order, your personal check to clear.

I am still interested but I am a bit concerned with there being no metal buttpad? I have never seen a muzzleloader without a butt pad. I would be concerned with the toe splitting off. Maybe it does not matter, but I would like to get some input from others.
Also can you give me a total overall length. I want to see if it will fit my gun safe. Thanks

I will get you the overall length late this evening first morning. Away from home now. Never any problems with a barn gun. As with this barn gun the toe is not long or narrow. No edges

A barn gun is like a poor boy . . . it's historically correct not to have a butt plate if made that way. This is a nice looking fowler.
