Just be careful with it. I made one only to have it shatter like glass when dropped
Really? never had a problem like that before, this one is probably#30 and have only had a problem with 1 leaking and that was the customer hung it in direct sun in a mudroom in the summer in Michigan and that was an easy fix to seal the seams back up, it's why I use beeswax to jack the leather and seal it, what did you use to jack the leather and what weight was the leather?

It was goat skin, sealed with beeswax, I made it 1/2 gallon. It was full but me cord wasn’t secure. It slipped off about a mile in to a trek, hit a rock and cracked open down the middle from neck to lower seam
I’ve made some 4 oz one for rum, but ended up giving all away, maybe it had something to do with the volume (?)

or the goat skin, was it fairly thick or thinner? I use 8/9 oz bark tanned tooling leather for these.
