Large horn with excellent copy of Nicholas Visscher’s map of “Novi Belgii” or New Netherlands and New England. The map cleverly wraps the horn, extending from the Chesapeake and Virginia north to Massachusetts. The horn is 17 inches from base to tip and has never held powder. This is principally a display item (I've had it on top of a bar cabinet for a while) but no reason it couldn't be used for powder -although it is quite large. I do not recognize the maker's mark.
