Filled the buck tag Monday on a fat doe.
It was the last day of the season.
The high was 12° and gusty, allowing me to slip hunt in fresh snow putting the odds in my favor compared to a normal day.
Deer were forced to feed in these conditions and I saw 21 deer throughout the day.
I shot this one somewhere between 70-80 it was across a dip, so hard to say for sure.

4th flintlock deer this season. I used my buck tag which is allowed to be used on a doe in flintlock season.

Participating in a hunt dressed similarly to the way they did in the 18th century, was fun for a change.

My buddy edited the picture, I think it turned out really neat.

Did the clothes keep you warm or were frozen at the end of the day?
