Last one for this winter

Just finished this one up this evening. The horn measures 10" along the outside curve, and is 2" in diameter at the butt. Small but will still hold approx. 1900 grs of FFFg. The butt is a piece of mahogany that I scrounged from a near by boat shop, and the horn was from a local critter. The strap is of crochet cotton done up on my inkle loom, and is 1" wide by 52" long.
I guess this will wind up the horn makin' for this winter..........soon things will be getting busy out in the shop, and I won't have time to do the things that I like

Very nice work Soggy. I love the 3 masted square riggers and since reading a lot of O'Brian's Jack Aubrey and Forester's Hornblower books I scare myself sometimes when I can name all of the sails on one. Just don't test me.

Incidently that ship is suposed to be "Old Iron Sides"
