Nice work! I really like the ancestral thing, I'd bet it going to be a pretty cool feeling walking the woods with that shooter while thinking about the connection. Congratulations on a job well done. Sweet!

The stock was a blank I got from Cecil Fredi at gunstockblanks.com in Las Vegas Nevada.
He's a great guy to deal with and has a lot of wood to look at. He doesn't have any full stock blanks.
I spent a couple of hours this afternoon polishing and tuning an old shotgun lock that I think will work for the next build. It's fun to build something that works out of spare parts and a little inspiration.

Thank you! Never heard of them either, will be checking them out. I’ve got a brand new Rayl barrel on the bench that I just received, I’m wanting some wood now.
