All the scrimshaw is done freehand. No stencils. Pencil the designs on the horn and start scratching.
Yes I sell them. This one is on ebay right now.
It is a Rev. war period horn.
I'm located in Mount Clemens, Mi.
This horn is actually horn #186. I always have 2 or 3 on the workbench that I go back and forth on as the mood hits me.
Kind of funny. I figured out once that I make a whopping $6.00 an hour doing these but is really satisfying to know that someone will hopefully turn this into an heirloom that may last a couple of hundred years. Thanks Paul

It's on ebay. I accidentally bought it Sunday before realizing it is meant for left side carry. Paul was gracious enough to refund it as I have one of his already and am wanting to buy another or five. His horns are fantastic

Winters are long in Michigan. I make these to keep from getting cabin fever. Sometimes I "age" them......just depends on the horn and if I think it will improve the looks.
