Lead pots

Hard to get excited over a lead pot, but the Waage is great.

My 20+ year old Waage has been really good to me. Though the thermostat appears to have given up this shooting season. Had to nearly turn it all the way down to get 740 degrees. About 20 degrees hotter than I like but afraid to fiddle with it anymore till this shooting season is over.

I have cast everything from .36 ball all the way up to big 550 grain 20:1 bullet I'm shooting this year for BPCR. Never had an issue using a dipper to cast proper bullets and ball.

I have a large regular Lee pot, but for 20 years I used a Coleman gas stove and the cheapest cast iron skillet the local discount store sold. I now cast in the garage with the door open And exhaust fan on. If I was casting outside I'd use the skillet and stove.
