Where did you get this information, or did you just make it up? There are lead mines in Missouri, Idaho and Alaska, and unless things changed and I missed it, these States are still part of the USA.Great video, watched it a while back. No lead production in the USA anymore anywhere.
I was aware of what was going on in the USA, guess you weren't. It was in the news as pointed out by deerstalkert.Where did you get this information, or did you just make it up? There are lead mines in Missouri, Idaho and Alaska, and unless things changed and I missed it, these States are still part of the USA.
Here is a list of the five largest lead mines in the USA located somewhere between anymore and anywhere.

And when I was way younger I remember my tooth paste came in (LEAD) tubes , still here and still handling lead !/Edwhen i was a child my Father would take us to Virginia City Nv. and we would explore the old mines of 7 mile canyon. wide open and no signs even. the stamp mills still stood. we explored several drifts that opened into natural cavern's that were basically a huge geode. today the entire canyon is off limits.
