My son bought some bar lead with matalico 2000 63%sn 37% pb does anyone know what that means? I don't have my tester yet but it seems quite hard

Are you sure it's not Metalico? Metalico is a recyler in Ohio. http://www.metalico.com/Akron/aboutannaco.html
sn is Tin and pb is lead on the periodic table of elements. So I am going to make a wild guess that you have bars produced by Metalico in the year 2000 that is 63% tin and 37% lead.

I'll trade you pound for pound lead flash that is about the softest lead you will find.

Thanks for the offer, but I will keep it. I cast and reload for modern also. Just not a much.
That's a type of solder widely used in the electronics industry years ago. (I have several 1 lb. bars of it.)
Good keep it to help WW and other stuff for modern that is what I would do with it. Tin goes for big bucks to shoot.
