A friend of mine wanted a "high-ride" holster for his 51/2" Ruger Old Army. He wants it to be at his side when he rides his four wheeler on his farm. Made it on the Tom Threepersons style.

Here is a big five bag. The wife ordered this one for her husband. Fully engraved and in color. I won't make another one. It just took too long in my busy lifestyle.

Goodness me, Thanks for all the kind words. I'm Humbled by the appreciation of guys I respect so much. I'm new on this forum and think some of the greatest craftsman is here.
Tundrawolf, here is a close-up.

Undertaker I worked about six months (on and off during the evenings) on the bag. I might be on the slow side but the handstitching took me about 20 hours. The coloring of the engraved bag felt like an eternity. I thought it will never end.

Fantastic work. I just finished my first hand tooled and hand stitched knife case. My work is totaly crude in comparison. Makes me have even a better appreciation of great work!! :hatsoff:

Sir that long arm case is FINE! Fantastic to say the least!
And the detail on that pistol holster is again amazing.I have never seen such work done to leather do you use some sort of form to mold it or is it carved. "FANTASTIC"

Thank you for the kind words and compliments. It is painstakingly slow carved with small handtools. Took me about 6 hours to finish that holster. It is handstitched.

Just by the way I sold the bag for about $130!!! :youcrazy: If I crasy or bored enough to try another I'll put at least an extra zero to the end. :rotf: :rotf:
