I have now seen posted here on this forum and on another forum that Lee round ball molds are out of production. Anyone have any info on this, confirmation as fact?
I do see that they are all out of stock on everything.
A few months ago I got tired of waiting for their. 595 mold to come back in stock at Track of The Wolf and wrote Lee an email. I inquired if it would be faster to order straight from Lee. They said I would have to order it from Track and that they were planning to restock them "soon."
I placed the item on backorder with Track. I've gotten reminder notices that I have the item backordered and that they haven't forgotten.
Now I'm reading this rumor.

Anyone know more?

I would doubt that they would stop production all together, I know I had some bullet molds on backorder that finally shipped when production caught up, lots of people buying casting supplies with the ammo shortages now, I purchased the lee .595 from track a couple of years ago and shortly after it went our of stock and non were to be found anywhere else, I just assume track was the only seller of that particular mold and they made a run of them now and then.

I recently purchased one from Dixie and another on Ebay. But. I had looked at all the usual vendors (and Lee) and for lots of different sizes and was alarmed at how few sizes were available anywhere. My first thought was, "holy cow I'd better start buying some more moulds." 😐

Have you tried Titan Reloading? ROUND BALL MOLDS

Most of my round ball molds are from Lee and they are excellent. Of the several dozen molds (and likely near ten brands) I mostly use the Lees. Doubt they'll stop production.

If you know a machinist that can do the work, Titan sells the Lee blank mold fairly cheap. It includes everything except the cavity.

I purchased a .390 round ball -Lee- mold at my lgs last week. It was the only one he had. Its a small shop but generally well stocked. I've had pretty good luck with Lee molds. My only issue with the first one I bought was the mold blocks were not closing completely during the pour. Otherwise they have been serviceable. But if you can find it I suggest a Lyman or RCBS. They are 3x the price but just work better.

Why not just send Lee an e-mail and ask them directly?

They will know.
