the lee real bullet is intended to be shot out of a slow twist barrel. i have seen a few very fast twist guns shoot them but alot that wont, go with the lee modern minithey are very good .

i'm going to start shooting the improved minnie at 360 grains. i even found some real black powser. how bout that? i'll let ya'll know how it goes. :v

I was given a number of thr REAL bullets casted by a friend. I had great results with them. I shot them out of a 50cal TC Hawkens with the QLA. Now I know the QLA is not highly thought of here on the forum but it was designed for shooting Maxi Balls and was ideal for shooting the REAL bullet. All of my groups were tight and consistant...Jim

yep. my Lee R.E.A.L 250 grain mold is doing the same thing. collecting dust that is. hopefully the 360 improved minnie mold won't do the same
