WITHDRAWN Lefty Chiefs Grade Trade Gun 20g.

For Sale or possible Trade Super nice left handed NWTG in 20g. Has the Sitting Fox stamped on the lock and barrel. Stock is walnut. The only damage I see is minor chipping in the wood immediately behind the tang. Barrel is 36". Bore is shiny. The gun is very reliable and gentle on flints. Great sparker. The only misfires I've experienced were if I failed to maintain the flint. Buttplate is flat and fastened with nails. LOP is 14". Gun is light and handles well. I don't think it is a masonic piece, but could be easily modified to be such. That's a fine trade gun you have there!

What is the barrel length? Can you show us a picture of the chipped area behind the tang?

Barrel is octagonal to round with wedding band and 36" in length. The chipped area is shallow and could be filled.

The Divider and Square are hidden within the intricate design, look for the obvious pivot pin at the top of the opened Dividers and the whole Masonic emblem will become apparent.

Yes I'm a Freemason, as was my Father, Grandfather and way back beyond before us.

After looking at it closely I think its a cleverly contrived design to hide the Masonic symbol, IMO only a Mason examining it would realise its meaning.
